Fast Foods

The book Fast Food Nation, has had an impact in my life. After reading almost most of it, I've learned some nasty stuff. The things it talks about are soo nasty, it  makes me think twice about eating at a fast food restaurant. I am going to have to read parts of it again, so that i can check exactly what it talks about because some of that stuff is nasty.Mcdonalds is for sure a place that I won't be going to anymore. It's just so unhealthy and bad for everyone. In fact, most of the fast food restaurants, because they are all very similar to each other. The changes I've made, are to not go to any fast food restaurant, the only exception is if Im dying of hunger and if I get something simple, nothing like a hamburgur or mcnuggets. And all this is because of reading this book, it's changed a few things so far, hopefully it'll change a few other for my own good. It's made me think of how they treat the animals when they kill them, Like the stuff they feed them if they even do. Do they take care of them well, and how they take care of the meat that we eat everyday. It also make me think that, they can pretty much do whatever they want to the meat and we won't end up knowing about it. And even after people find out, they'll still eat it because they wont care and it's good. People don't care if it's unhealthy, they only care about how it tastes. All this because i read the book, and it made me change the way I live my life.

Ughh!!

My life seems to be getting way harder out of no where. My classes are getting harder, my personal life with family, and coaching is a different story. All of a sudden my classes started getting harder, in this class we have essays, in sociology class i have to study and learn about 50 words, thats from 4 chapters and the teacher is only going to test us on 5! Plus, she doesn't let us answer more for extra credit, so its only the ones she picks. I say that is not fair, it's a lot of words for her to only test us on 5! Then in another class we had another midterm, why would there be two midterms? And tons of reading in philosophy, that doesn't change, hopefully it will soon. Then with all that at school, there's more to make it worse at home. I have to do everything around the house, it's like I'm the gardener but I don't get paid. And it's not just cutting the grass, and the edges. I have to pick up the dog droppings, and all that other good stuff, that is not nice. Then coaching is taking more and more of my time. I don't really mind because i like to coach, but it makes other things harder to complete. It's less time for homework and any other things i want to do. But the good thing is, that i know it'll get better within time.

~FAMILY~

Family should be very important to everyone; they are the people who you are raised with and the ones that love you. No matter what happens, you shouldn’t stop talking to them or get mad at them. They should always be part of your life. My family is small; it’s my dad, my mom, my older brother, then me. That’s only one part of it. The other part is big. I have 6 uncles and aunts put together, and they all have more than two kids. That’s only on one side of my family, in the other side, there is a few more cousins. I only get to see a part of the big side of my family once a year, because they live in Mexico. I have an uncle and two aunts, who live here, along with my cousins.  I have 9 cousins who live here in the US. And in Mexico there is 6 uncles/aunts and 16 cousins. One of my cousins has two kids and three other ones have one. So I’m an uncle here and in Mexico. At first it’s weird seeing my cousins in Mexico because its been a while since I see them, but after a few it feels normal again.
I’ve known of people who don’t talk to other family members due to a problem they once had. I personally think that’s wrong, their family and you shouldn’t be mad at them for ever for a dumb reason, and never talk to them again. It might have been wrong what they did or what you did, but people make mistakes and this is your family, not any random person in the street. You carry the same type of blood within you and for you to not even talk to them is wrong. Family should also help other family members out, that’s what family is for. They shouldn’t lie to them, their family, why would anyone have to lie to a family member; they should always be completely honest and never lie. What would be a good reason to lie at all? I think there is none. People should always be honest, to everyone and to family. If you’re all alone during a holiday and you don’t like to be alone, your family is there for you, most of the time, and well at least they should be there for you. You can join them and spend a great time with them.

Speedy teXter

Texting is taking over; it is a new way to communicate. It’s a way to communicate when you don’t have time to talk on the phone, or simply if you don’t want to speak to the other person. As time passes by, more and more people are starting to use text messages. I use them because I can be having a conversation with multiple people and still be doing what I need to do. It’s also a way that you don’t have to use your minutes. If you have unlimited texting it’s worth it, but only if you use it a lot. It’s a flat rate and you can send and receive as many text messages as you want. The problem with texting is texting while driving. People often think they can text and drive at the same time. Then when they crash they realize they can’t, and then it’s too late. I am guilty of driving and texting, but on rare occasions. And when I do, I’m smart about it and am extra careful. Other than that, if I get a call I most likely won’t answer it. But I’m not talking about talking; I’m talking about text messages. Texting during class is another thing you shouldn’t do it’s disrespectful and I think it shouldn’t be done in class. It’s like taking a call, if you’re going to take a call, take it outside.

Reality TV

As I was a little kid I loved watching tv, but never any reality shows. At points some would seem interesting during the previews but they never really catch my attention. As I grew up and found out that Santa was fake, I also found out that the reality shows were all fake. I didn’t understand and at first I didn’t believe it. But as I grew up I believed it, although I’m not completely positive that it isn’t real I don’t believe in it. I actually hate watching them, like why would I even care what’s going on in other people’s life that has money to just have cameras following them around. If they don’t know what to do with the money they can always give me some and I’ll be more than happy to take some. So yeah I don’t really care about what’s going on in their lifes. I also don’t like watching cribs, I mean its nice and all that they have a lot of cool stuff, but their just showing off everything they have and the nothing that we have. I actually don’t dislike much about them, probably just that they take up time for other shows, and even then I don’t mind because I don’t watch that much TV. I don’t think these types of shows are harmful, I don’t see how they would be harmful in any way. I guess I can’t really say much because I don’t really watch them, but I wouldn’t think it’s harmful. I mean its just reality what harm would it do? In a way I think it would benefit our society because it shows kids what to expect in the “real” world. Reality TV is not a guilty pleasure or something I avoid, it’s something I don’t have time to watch. When I turn on the TV I never come across a reality show, their not on when I watch TV. But if it happens to be on for any reason, then I will avoid it, The most recent show that every loves talking about, Jersey Shore, has not even came to mind to watch a single episode. Something about Italians and who knows what else, Snooky getting punched by a guy who cares, I don’t! So that pretty much tells you that I don’t watch reality TV shows.

My Past Present and Future

My past has not been easy, i have gotten in trouble many times. All throughout high school i would get in trouble for not doing my homework. At home i would get in trouble by my parents. Im glad to say i didn't get in trouble with the police. Now that i think about it, i wasn't that bad as a kid. School was and still is my challenge in life. I did get suspended in Jr high for doing a few dumb things, but nothing big. High schhol was a bit harder then i expected but i got past that.

My present is alright, I still get in trouble and have hard times. I dont get so much in troble because in college theres much more freedom, however school isn't the only place where I can get in trouble. There's also my house with my parents. Its been a good experience so far and I hope nothing goes wrong. I don't have a lot to complain about and nothing to brag about.

I hope my future turns out well, and has a lot of great things for me. I expect to keep going to college and continue my education. When I'm ready to move out I will, hopefully it'll be with friends. That wasy it won't be just me and we can split the rent, party ever weekend, and do anything we desire. When I'm settled in with my family, i wish to have a healthy family. Have everything we need and be wealthy. Not too rich and not too poor, just enough for what we need and little bit for what we want. As where I want to live, I would want to live in many different places at different times of the year. Some place where it snows a bit, where it's hot and perfect weather. Well that is some of my past, a little bit of my future and plans and expectations for my future.
